Shane McMahon Reveals Vince McMahon Is Resting but Already Planning His Next Big Move
Vince McMahon may be keeping a low profile lately, but according to Shane McMahon, the former WWE boss is far from stepping away from the business world.
In a new interview with TMZ Sports published on June 6, 2025, Shane offered a rare insight into his father’s current mindset and health—and it’s exactly what you’d expect from the ever-ambitious mogul.
When asked about his father’s status, Shane smiled and said:
“He’s been doing really well. He’s enjoying life and getting a little bit of rest in there. But, you know, if you know my dad, he’s always gung-ho and thinking about the next thing—and that’s what he’s focused on.”
That “next thing” is already underway. Vince McMahon recently launched 14TH & I, an investment firm named after the iconic D.C. intersection where Capitol Wrestling Corporation—the forerunner to WWE—was once headquartered.
The company has filed multiple LLCs in Connecticut and secured trademarks for private equity and entertainment production ventures. Former WWE executive Brad Blum serves as the president of the firm and shared its business strategy in a recent statement:
“We seek to partner with and empower exceptional management teams, providing deep expertise, capability, and relationships to help drive significant long-term value.”
Even amid legal troubles—including shareholder lawsuits and sexual misconduct allegations—Vince McMahon remains deeply invested in the sports and entertainment landscape. He still holds a significant stake in TKO, the parent company of WWE and UFC, showcasing his continued influence behind the scenes.
If Shane’s update is any indication, Vince’s so-called “rest” may just be the calm before another major industry storm.
