Nikki Bella Rejects Private Locker Room in Respectful RAW Return

Nikki Bella’s return to WWE RAW on June 9, 2025, was memorable not just for what fans saw on screen—but for what happened backstage.

Appearing on her podcast shortly after the show, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that WWE offered her a private locker room for the night. But she declined, choosing instead to be in the same space as the current generation of female Superstars.

“Like they had my own locker room for me and I was like, ‘No way, I’m going in [with the] female talent.’ Like I want to be with them,” Nikki said.

The decision was about solidarity and humility. Rather than separating herself as a returning legend, Nikki wanted to share space with today’s women’s division, showing appreciation and mutual respect.

“I’m always like a little shy, which people don’t expect… and then it was just—it became warm and fun so quick.”

In the same episode, Nikki also reflected on her promo segment with Liv Morgan, admitting to being nervous and even mispronouncing Stephanie Vaquer’s name, despite practicing it.

“I feel like I’m still saying it wrong… but she says that of course in a beautiful Latina accent… when I would repeat it after her, she’s like, ‘Perfect.’”

Still, her recent experience with live podcast shows helped calm her nerves on WWE’s big stage.

“I haven’t been on that kind of stage in so long… but that helped, so that relaxed the nerves a bit.”

And Nikki gave major props to Liv Morgan, calling her intensity “incredible.”

“I was shocked when Liv came out like a fireball. It was like incredible. I was like, ‘Oh shoot. Whoa.’”

From turning down special treatment to being candid about her nerves, Nikki Bella proved she’s not back to stand out—she’s back to stand alongside the women shaping WWE’s future.
