Charlotte Flair Breaks Silence on Becky Lynch Feud: “There’s Still Story Left”
Charlotte Flair isn’t afraid to speak her mind—and she just added fresh fuel to one of WWE’s most iconic rivalries.
Appearing on the Games With Names podcast, the 14-time WWE Women’s Champion addressed her current relationship with longtime rival Becky Lynch. While the two are no longer at odds personally, Flair hinted that their story inside the ring may not be finished.
“We’re cordial. No, we’re good,” Flair shared.
“But I still think there is some story left there. There’s more meat on that bone.”
A Rivalry Built on Real Tension
Their most talked-about match remains the emotionally charged Champion vs. Champion bout at Survivor Series 2021, which was fueled by legitimate backstage heat.
“Our Survivor Series match was actually really incredible,” Flair recalled.
“Becky and I have had a lot of great matches, but that one was especially real.”
From best friends to bitter enemies, the Lynch-Flair dynamic has helped define the evolution of WWE’s women’s division. Their chemistry—both real and scripted—has captivated fans for nearly a decade.
Is the Rivalry About to Reignite?
With Flair openly suggesting the story isn’t over, fans are already speculating about a potential WrestleMania or SummerSlam showdown in the future.
“I don’t think there’s a nail in the coffin yet,” she added.
Whether it’s unfinished business or just mutual respect between two top-tier athletes, the possibility of one more chapter has the WWE Universe buzzing.
