LA Knight to Stay on SmackDown Despite Internal Push for Raw Move

LA Knight isn’t heading to Monday Night Raw full-time—at least not yet.

While multiple WWE insiders have reportedly pushed for “The Megastar” to shift brands, new details from Dave Meltzer (Wrestling Observer Newsletter) confirm that WWE currently has no immediate plans to make the move official.

“On LA Knight to Raw, he will be and is doing a program with the Paul Heyman group and Raw guys… But no move to Raw right now as a home base,” Meltzer wrote.

Knight Will Appear on Both Brands

Despite remaining a SmackDown talent, Knight’s storyline with Paul Heyman’s faction has him showing up on Raw regularly. WWE’s brand split rules are reportedly flexible—allowing Knight to work across both shows while still being based on SmackDown.

Recent episodes have seen Knight interfere in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed’s King of the Ring qualifying matches—escalating tensions with Heyman’s group, which includes Rollins, Breakker, and Reed.

Why Fans Thought a Move Was Coming

Speculation about a permanent Raw move originated from WrestleVotes, who claimed that internal conversations were underway to inject new star power into Raw—especially ahead of its 2025 Netflix premiere.

Knight’s charisma and popularity make him a strong candidate to boost Raw’s presence, especially with WWE looking to shake up both brands creatively.

However, WWE seems committed—for now—to using him strategically across both shows without a full-time roster switch.

With the “YEAH!” chants growing louder every week, LA Knight doesn’t need a brand switch to stay in the spotlight.
