Chelsea Green Reveals WWE’s Scrapped Plans for Secret Hervice Faction Featuring Blair Davenport

Chelsea Green has a knack for turning any WWE opportunity into gold, including her current faction, the Secret Hervice. But as Green recently revealed, the group almost looked very different.
In an interview on the Lightweights Podcast, Green discussed how the Secret Hervice faction originally came together—and how WWE’s plans shifted after a key player was released. Green revealed that she and Piper Niven initially wanted Blair Davenport to join their faction.
“When we were talking about a third, at first it was going to be Blair Davenport, and when Blair was released, it was obviously a bummer moment,” Green shared. “Man, maybe we’re not gonna be a faction—maybe we’ll just be a tag team.”
With Davenport’s departure, Green and Niven considered scrapping the faction idea altogether. But then inspiration struck: why not bring in Alba Fyre? According to Green, Fyre—also known as Kay Lee Ray—was a natural fit thanks to her close friendship with Piper Niven and their shared history in STARDOM.
“Then we had the idea like, what if we could convince them to get Kay Lee, Alba Fyre,” Green continued. “Because Kay Lee is Piper’s best friend from Scotland. She also lived with us in Japan—the three of us lived together in Japan since we worked in STARDOM. So the three of us have history, we have a relationship, we mesh well, we know each other’s quirks and downfalls too, so we can work around those. So it’s been fun.”
Alba Fyre officially joined the Secret Hervice faction in March, and since then, the trio has been a force to be reckoned with on WWE programming. While some fans still wonder what could have been with Blair Davenport, Green emphasized that everything worked out for the best—and fans seem to agree.
