WWE’s biggest event, WrestleMania 42, is currently at the center of a heated battle over its venue, and fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation on where the event will land.
According to Fightful Select, “WrestleMania 42 isn’t in New Orleans, and officially doesn’t have a home, though it’s expected to be Las Vegas once again.” While Las Vegas was originally the frontrunner for the 2026 show, WWE has yet to finalize the location, leaving fans speculating.
London has also emerged as a potential host city, but high site fees may stand in the way. “AEW pays the city and venue for All In and Forbidden Door, while WWE seeks a hefty site fee to bring the show to London,” the report noted. This financial obstacle could make London less appealing, despite strong fan interest.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has been mentioned as a potential host in the future. A WWE insider explained that if WrestleMania heads to Saudi Arabia, it would likely be rebranded as “Super WrestleMania,” similar to the “Greatest Royal Rumble” model.
Interestingly, some within WWE believe that the rumors around Las Vegas being a permanent home are a negotiation tactic to get other cities to offer better bids. “Many in the company believe that is a negotiation tactic to encourage cities to bid more,” one source revealed.
As the location drama continues, fans are left to wonder where WrestleMania 42 will be held. WWE’s strategy seems to be sparking a bidding war among cities, ensuring the company secures the best possible deal.
